A Jeff Baja is a Michigan native and longtime Traverse City resident who brings more than 20 years of sales, negotiation, and client service experience to Team Shimek. Licensed in real estate since 2021, Jeff uses that experience to help buyers and sellers navigate the process with clear communication, strong follow-through, and a service-first approach.

Jeff knows that buying or selling a home is a big decision, and he takes pride in making the experience as straightforward and comfortable as possible for his clients.Michigan native and 14 year resident of the Traverse City area, I bring two decades of award winning sales experience to The Mitten Group as a licensed agent with Team Shimek. My career began in Central Florida in 2004 as co-owner and marketing manager of Guardian Angel Track, followed by a successful transition into automotive sales in 2006. After relocating to Northern Michigan in 2012, I built a distinguished track record with Bill Marsh Automotive and Serra of Traverse City, earning GM Top Performer recognition for 12 consecutive years and ranking among Michigan’s Top 25 Performers in GMC Sales.

Licensed in Northern Michigan since 2021 and now committed to real estate full time, I specialize in Traverse City and the surrounding communities. I’m known for a service first approach, clear communication, diligent follow through, and an unwavering commitment to my clients’ goals. Drawing on deep negotiation experience and long standing relationships throughout the region, I help buyers and sellers navigate the market with confidence and ease.
